You know what they say about the best things in life being free. Well, here’s another thing that you can do for free!
In this article, I’m going to show you my favorite Greek islands for beaches. And you don’t need to spend a dime to find them.
There are many amazing beaches all over Greece. Some are more well known, while others are lesser known.
But either way, these beaches offer stunning scenery and incredible swimming spots.
So let’s get started!
Corfu Island
The most popular island in Greece, Corfu Island is home to over 300,000 people.
While it’s not a huge island, there is plenty of space to enjoy the beach. In fact, there are several famous beaches on the island, such as Corfu Town, Spinalonga, and Cala Lagoa.
However, the best beaches are on the northern end of the island, such as the beaches at Agios Georgios and Paxos.
The island’s main attraction is the city of Corfu Town, which is also one of the oldest cities in Greece. It’s located on a peninsula that juts out into the Mediterranean Sea.

Zakynthos
This island is located off the coast of Greece. It’s known for its stunning beaches, crystal clear water, and beautiful blue skies.
It’s the perfect place to go if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Paxos and Antipaxos
While I’ve only visited the two islands that I’ve highlighted, I would love to visit all of them! They both have beautiful beaches, but you can’t go wrong with any of the islands.
I’m personally a fan of Paxos, which has the most famous beach, Kassandra. However, Antipaxos is a little quieter, and its beach is a little smaller.
If you’re looking for something a little more remote, then Antipaxos is perfect for you.
Lefkada Island
Lefkada is a small island, so finding the perfect beach is going to be quite challenging. However, there is a beautiful beach on the north side of the island.
The beach itself is located near the village of Vathia. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a day out at the beach.
You can easily get there by bus from the airport, and it only takes 30 minutes.
The beach is also a good choice for swimming, because there are no dangerous currents. It’s also safe for families.
Golden Sand Beaches of Páros Island
Páros island is one of the best places in the world to visit in the summertime. But it also has great beach resorts to stay in.
There are so many different beaches around Páros. But the most famous ones are Golden Sands.
They are so pretty that you can find them all over the island.
You can visit them from any location, by driving or even on foot.
Just follow the signs.

You can easily visit the island by taking the ferry from the port of Volos. There are two ferries a day.
The first one departs at 8:00 am, and the second one at 2:00 pm.
Once you’re on the island, you can head to Agios Andreas beach, which is located on the northern coast of the island. It’s a very popular spot because it’s an extremely clean and calm beach.
It’s also very close to the island’s capital, Skopelos Town, so you can easily walk to the beach or find a taxi.
